"Audrie was one of my professional beta readers on Book 2 in the Apidecca Duology. She came highly recommended by some seasoned indie authors, and didn’t disappoint.
Even though I hadn’t asked for a full edit, she gave very thorough feedback. Audrie praises what is effective and identifies the things that hold a story back. She has an eye for inconsistencies and plot beats that don’t come across as they should. With her perspective, I could identify what wasn’t landing the way I’d hoped. Every writer has those niggling things that bother them about their story … things you can’t place. Well, Audrie brought them into focus for me.
When I got stuck with ideas for fixes, she was ready with some suggestions. I can even credit her with a change of setting in a chapter towards the end of the book – it’s much improved.
